Finally after several months of obscurity on the subject that I have studied for years, something interesting and engaging has been born!
To summarize in three steps my story. I studied business management. I worked for a couple of companies after my education and had to finally flee appalled by the dishonesty with which they worked: their single goal being to gain profits. It was a trauma to give up my principles and values to serve the interests of those who were in command. Customers were no longer people but a source, the product was no longer an asset but a tool, employees were no longer trusted collaborators but a channel to sell, steal, if necessary, and bring home the proceeds.
I was sickened not only morally but also physically, so much so that I came to the conclusion that this could not be my world, what's more, being a competitive and determined person, I risked bringing out a petty part of me that I did not want to develop.
So I decided to change path, disappointed and embittered. I remember that I confided in an old friend who told me: " They are not all like that, it is as if you make love with someone that you do not like and then you conclude that making love is not gratifying". That reflection is flawless, but at that time it was not enough to convince me.
Luckily I did not give up that easily but I must say that to think that I had studied for years a concept that I did not agree with had destroyed me psychologically.
It is as if I had made a substantially bad investment. I reserved these ideas, in the hope that in the future I could salvage them. In the end, with the people who have trained me in mind, I do not believe that in the business world all are unfair.
Finally, here is the answer!
A turning point for a society that has developed in recent decades under the rules of corruption, cronyism, favoritism and all facets of dishonesty. It is time to say enough is enough and to clearly see things for what they are, to state how things are, to praise those who deserve it and to denounce those who continue to do evil.
Let us change direction, the good road can bring other good, in the same way that the route of deceit has led us to the slums in which we are forced to live in nowadays .
Finally I see the light, maybe my studies were not a waste of time after all, perhaps there is still hope that “business” will become "good business" from which everyone can benefit.
I am so proud to join The Human Marketing: an interesting new project has just been born. And I want to take part of it!
